THE BIBLE
The Bible
The
Bible is not a book to play with as it have more attached to it than a piece of
paper with written letters compiled together. It is a map as it guide, lead and
direct; it is also an instructor as it contains God’s Command which encourage and
correct us. It is a weapon as we through the word know what is needed to become
a victor; it also shields, protects and gives us a close relationship with God.
The oxford advanced learner’s
dictionary defines the bible as the Holy book of the Christian religion
consisting of the Old Testament and the New Testament.
John
1:1 says “In the beginning was the word,
and the word was with God, and the word was God.”
The
Bible can also be seen as God in writing as through its books messages needed
for all to overcome is given as we learn about faith, believe and more; God’s
spirit explains better giving us a better understanding of all the letters.
The Bible consist of two testament
The
Old Testament and
The
New Testament.

total books of the bible from the Old Testament to the New Testament are 66.
Each book of the Bible helps every Christian to know what needs to be done and
how to go about it. Studying the Bible makes a Christian understand that in
life we all have an important work to do.
Joshua
1:8 says
“This book of
the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day
and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written
therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have
good success.”
And
the book of 2nd Timothy 2:15 says
“Study to shew
thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly
dividing the word of truth.”
The
Bible is a must for all Christian to read, learn and understand daily.
