We only get to know when we feel it is important to do so.

Our attitude towards people and the environment can be different when we have more knowledge and understanding about them.

Knowing about a thing is one, understanding that which you know is another and applying that which you have known is the final. When you are been asked a question and you are not able to give an answer to the question or the answer you gave is incorrect, it is said that one do not understand or know the question.

Wisdom, Understanding and Knowledge are special words that work together to bring about a positive result.

WISDOM

Wisdom is explained as Knowledge, Insight and one’s Reason (Cleverness or Intelligence).

UNDERSTANDING

Understanding is explained as the ability to get the meaning, when something is in a clear manner and also the ability to grasp, perceive and to comprehend.

KNOWLEDGE

Knowledge is explained as Understanding, familiarity, something that is known, and awareness.

The three words are so important for every one of us to be a success in what we do. We must start from the first step before we will be able to move further…

1.       KNOWLEDGE

What do you know or need to know?

Why do you need to know about them?

How would you get to know about them?

The moment you make an effort to know about things you need to know, it will be easier for you than when you are forced to know about them. When you decide on your own, you create enough time in getting more information.

2.      UNDERSTANDING

Without the help of someone will I be able to explain?

When you have gotten an idea on information you need to put in more effort to have a better understanding on it. This requires you sacrificing your time making research.

In English Language we all know that “A Noun is a name of a person, an animal, a place or a thing”. At any given time you see a question on “what is a Noun?” and there is no other information you are able to give apart from the definition above, it shows that you only know about the word Noun and you are yet to have a better understanding of it.  

Understanding requires time and energy you put in to acquire a better knowledge on what you need to know for you to be able to explain in a way yourself and others will get the message without any mistake.

Understanding makes one different from others (just as our name makes us stand out from the crowd giving us an Identity)

3.      WISDOM

To show wisdom one applies that which he/she knows and has a better understanding on with no mistake.

After every class the teacher ask questions, to know if the class understands the teachings. The way the students reply to the questions makes the teacher to know if they know the topic or have a better understanding of it.

Wisdom is so precious that we all need the gift to excel in our Studies, Homes, Offices and Business.

When you need to do things make sure it is right before God, Yourself and Others, once it is not so it goes against the law of wisdom?

“Wisdom is doing that which is right the right way”

This is the reason we are given Classwork, Assignment, Test and Exams after been taught. You cannot apply Wisdom without Understanding and you cannot understand when there is no Knowledge.
